ALL ABOUT RAMENS! (PICS!)

I'm a DIE-HARD fan of Japanese ramens okay :D Till now, I still remember my first encounter with ramen was Ajisen's Cha Shu Ramen on my birthday! And I thought it tasted great back then. Sadly, now I think it isn't that good anymore. LOL.

And then I began to embark on a quest for the best ramens in Singapore. I had them occasionally because they are really expensive! It always costs $10++ per bowl~ So I ate those cheap ones until I had chance to try out the authentic ones! Those really surpass my expectations ^^ Now whenever I order a ramen, I will make sure it's more or less authentic and not just taste like MAGGI MEE. LOL.

So, you wanna know where to look for good and affordable ramens especially for a student like me? I will share with you the top 5 ramens that are VALUE for money!

This is BY FAR my most favourite ramen I have eaten ever! Why? Look at the pictures below and you will know!

We had to queue for 45 minutes before we could get
our seats - during peak hours! See how crazy the queue is?!

And no, we were not done yet. Apparently there's still a queue inside!

They serve wines too!

MY SHINOMARU RAMEN ^^

The EGG! The highlight of the whole ramen. Look carefully - it's super runny!

Salmon Salad with Croutons

None of the people I went with say anything bad about the ramen! It's generally good! I love the rich broth, tender char shu and springy noodles! You can even specify how thick you want your noodles to be! I've been there for many times and never got sick of it! Best thing is I always managed to finish EVERYTHING! :DD

This is another time I went! :) We were treated a complimentary

Pear & Yuzu ice-cream by someone familiar! Tasted sooo great!

Ignore the last picture! Not relevant but can't be removed LOL!

#2 Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King @ Tanjong Pagar
A cosy and friendly shop selling Japanese ramen! Only opens during certain timing!

The Japanese cook!

So cute! :)

What a huge seaweed!

Eggs in a basket! Haha!

Superb ^^

#3 Gantetsu Ramen @ Ramen Champion

The egg was runny as well - however sometimes only ): The rest is considered decent :)

#4 Char Shu Ramen @ Bugis MOF Izakaya

I actually drank 2 big bowls of soup LOL! Too nice!

#5 Ramen @ Paragon Sushi Tei

Seafood ramen!

I usually tend to finish the soup first before the noodles! >.<

And a few more random photos of ramen I ate!

From Hokkaido Fair! Hakodate Zundo Ramen!

Ramen champion's Tetsu and Taishoken!

WHAT NOT RECOMMENDED TO TRY
Not long ago, went to try out Watami Japanese Restaurant Tonkotsu Ramen @ JCube. It was disappointing! ): The soup is SUPER SALTY and I already got sick of it just half way through the soup. The service is also not that good because our ramens were actually served much later. Just sharing my bad experience! But the other dishes were good: Mochi and cheese okonomiyaki and breaded scallops!

So much for the anticipation... >__<!
This was fine though!

Lastly, I will end this post with... GREEN RAMEN! HAHA!

Of course no lah duh! This is just vegetable noodles! ^^ But quite a noodle to try too!
